My name is Gemma and I’ve spent the last twenty years working in multiple different areas of large multinational companies - from launching products, to shipping them around the world to meet demand, to building a whole new organisation to manufacture electric vehicles. Most recently I moved into crafting commercial and corporate strategies; specialising in how best to navigate the D2C world and putting together channel strategies to optimise growth and profitability.

Since leaving the corporate world I’ve shifted my focus towards sustainability and the circular economy, with a particular interest in using life cycle analysis to determine what is driving a business’s carbon emissions and which changes will have the greatest impact in reducing them. I genuinely believe that these changes can be made in a way that is also sustainable for your business in terms of profit, product and service - aligning your sustainability goals with your business goals. Freelancing gives me the opportunity to spread some of that ethos around many businesses, big and small, have a positive impact on our environment and hopefully inspire others to join me on the journey!
